Goodness
A high-protein multi-lentil dosa mix (~21 g protein/100 g, about double a rice-urad batter). Combining pulses with quinoa, millets and black rice gives a complete amino-acid profile. It is rich in folate, iron, magnesium and potassium and has about 10 g fibre/100 g. Fenugreek aids fermentation and blood-sugar control, and black rice adds anthocyanins. Naturally gluten-free, and gives a lower-glycaemic breakfast than plain dosa.
Label claims

Who should avoid
• Sesame allergy: contains white sesame (cold-pressed sesame oil retains allergenic protein).
• Legume allergy (lentil/chickpea/pulse): contains masoor dal, moong dal, urad dal, kala chana, horse gram and fenugreek. Fenugreek and chickpea can cross-react in people with peanut allergy.
• Vrat/fasting diets that exclude grains & pulses.
• Strict ketogenic diet: ~52 g net carbs per 100 g (26 g per serve).
• Advanced chronic kidney disease (stage 4-5) / dialysis on potassium-phosphorus restriction: ~360 mg potassium and ~164 mg phosphorus per serve. Only with renal dietitian approval.

Consume less / with caution
• People on ACE-inhibitors, ARBs (BP medicines like telmisartan, ramipril) or potassium-sparing diuretics (spironolactone): potassium-rich, so avoid stacking several high-potassium foods daily.
• IBS / bloating-prone people: pulses (GOS) and high fibre may trigger gas or loose stools; start with half a serve.
• Gout / high uric acid: pulses (moderate purine) can raise uric acid; moderate portions.
• Kidney disease on protein restriction: high-protein product; count it in the daily protein allowance.
• Diabetics on medication: fenugreek adds a mild glucose-lowering effect (helpful, but monitor).
